Cater Cart was founded after a friend of Don Saunders’ who runs an ice cream business in Auckland, New Zealand couldn’t find a suitable cart in which to store and sell his products. After much consideration, Saunders realised there existed a niche market for a vending cart that would have multiple uses selling a range of hot and cold fast food and as the rest as they say is history.
The research, development and design has been completed and we are now making carts that look as if they’ve rolled straight out of a Mediterranean film set. We are now producing state of the art vending carts for sole operators and organisations.
We are a small group of people based in Hamilton, New Zealand and backed by a talented design team. Our goal is to change the culture of street vending and get more small businesses involved in selling food on our streets. We may not crank out the highest numbers of carts but we will make the most sophisticated, both in appearance and technology, and have the best build quality and technical backup service.
